We strive to make your child comfortable in the dental chair and ensure that they have healthy gums, teeth, and mouth in a friendly, stress-free environment.

We offer the following dental services for children:

The First Visit

You should take your child to the dentist for their first dental visit by the time he or she turns one. During this visit, you will get a chance to discuss the following things with our experts:

  • Teething and milestones of dental development for your kid
  • Habits such as finger and thumb sucking
  • The role of a child’s diet in their oral health
  • Proper use of fluoride
  • Caring for your kid’s oral health
  • Ways to prevent accidents that could damage the teeth and face

Kids Complete Checkups

Children get their first tooth by the time they turn six months old. By the time they turn six or seven years of age, their milk teeth start to fall out for the permanent teeth to come in. During this period of getting their first tooth to shedding their milk teeth, children are susceptible to many oral care problems such as decay, which could damage their teeth. Regular dental checkups help us keep track of your child’s oral health and help them develop proper dental care habits at an early age. During these checkups, we will conduct examinations for periodontitis (gum disease), tooth decay, oral cancer, vitamin deficiencies, diabetes, and any irregularities in the neck and head region that could indicate dental problems.

Preventive Treatments

Preventive dental care can help your child avoid the need for extensive and expensive treatments later in life. Preventive treatments are the best way to fight the start or progression of dental health issues, such as gum disease, decay, and oral cancer.

Sealants

Dental sealants are a thin coat of plastic applied to the surface of the back teeth to smooth out grooves and fissures. The surface irregularities in a child’s back teeth could house bacteria, leading to cavities and decay. By covering the grooves and fissures, sealants can prevent the accumulation of harmful bacteria in the teeth. They are applied after permanent teeth have erupted.

Fluoride Applications

Fluoride is a natural element that is found in water and certain foods such as meat, tea, eggs, and fish. It helps prevent tooth decay as it speeds up the remineralization process in which the outer most surface of the tooth, the enamel is built back up. Dental office fluoride treatments help keep your child’s teeth strong and healthy.
